Wow. I don't even know where to begin. After a year of dating and 5 years of being best friends, Bryce and I have decided to go our separate ways. It has been a really hard time in my life and I need to figure out what I want. Long distance took a toll on us and I made a lot of mistakes. We both deserve to be happy and I wish him the best of luck. Who knows what will happen, it could just be our timing, I love him very much and he deserves the absolute best. In other news, I've decided to move to Arizona. I need a change, I've never lived out of Utah (yes I realize AZ isn't much of a risk) but its a good time for a fresh start! I've put an application into a house and I will probably be moving down there sometime in the next two weeks!

Sundance was a success. Mom and I saw 13 movies and loved 11 out of 13, which is a lot compared to normal. A few that you need to look out for:

Beasts of the Southern Wild (AMAZING, absolute must see)
The End of Love (my personal favorite)
About Face (documentary about modeling)
Nobody Walks

It was so fun to see old friends and meet a few new ones as well. I am overwhelmed with gratitude when I think about my friends. I am so lucky, blessed, and honored to have the most amazing friends!

Best 10 days of the year

Guess what's happening in t minus 6 days? Only my favorite 10 days out of the year, Sundance Film Festival. This will be the 5th year that my mom and I have gone to watch as many movies and see as many celebrities as we possibly can! I'm so excited to meet up with friends I haven't seen forever and just be in the northern part of the state for a few days!

We are heading into 2012 and I have decided to get back on the band wagon of blogging. I realized I care way too much about what people say or think about my blog when really I shouldn't because it is online journal for me, myself and I. Plus, I know that some of my few readers are wondering what I have been up to lately.

I am living back in St. George and loving it. It has been a time to regroup and figure out what I want in my life and a time to be completely babied again by my parents. I am the biggest home body I've ever been, I rarely leave the house unless its for lunch or to run errands with my parents. I am completely caught up on almost all TV shows and caught up on all the sleep I lost when I lived in Provo. I am trying to figure out the next steps in my life. It has been a very emotional and hard last few months, its been a blessing that I've been home with the people I love most. I have also had a chance to reflect on my life and get closer to my Heavenly Father.

As you may know, my little brother Chase is on his mission in Guatemala. He has been out for a little over two months and man has it been the biggest blessing in my life. He is such a strong missionary and I can feel the fire in his words. If you want to feel the spirit go READ his letters. The blessings have been flowing in like crazy ever since he got his call. I am so grateful for him and his decision to serve.

Also big news, I'm going to be an aunt in July! My sister in law Brooke is prego and I seriously can't wait. My niece or nephew is the size of a lime and I already love it so much!

I have been traveling all over the place to see Bryce in LA, San Fran, Arizona, and Seattle. It has been a lot of fun but man long distance is hard. I never thought I would say that I'm almost sick of traveling.

I am going into 2012 with a new outlook on life. I am not in a hurry and I need to find out who I really am, what I want, and let myself heal. I have to keep telling myself everything will work out in the end and it will fall into place. There are some things I can't change and I have to accept that. I have realized who my closest friends are and I just want to surround myself with those I love most. If you are my friend now, you are my friend forever.

This is starting to sound like a sob story and that is not what I intend. I just want to feel truly happy so I am working towards that. Anyway, I will be blogging again. Hopefully I will learn how to do some cool things on my blog instead of just boring writing that no one wants to read.

I am beyond stoked for my little brother who just got his mission call to Guatemala. For those of you don't know that's where I was for a month and a half (serving my mission obviously) a few years ago working in an orphanage and building stoves for people. It has always had a special place in my heart, I love the people and I've always said it is such an underrated place. You can imagine how excited I am for him to share these feelings with me. He leaves November 2nd and even though it will be hard for me, I'm so proud of him!

So here are some of the highlights of my trip in iphone pictures...
I had a great time and I'm dying to go back. Don't mind Bryce's pissed face. He's just practicing Fear the Beard and he really does kind of like me. My only wish for SF is the weather, its so cold and I felt like it was Fall/Winter all over again. As for now we are stuck doing long distance until I can get back out there!

Why am I the worlds worst blogger? You would think I have loads of time to blog every single day and get better at this stuff, which I do! But for some reason I hate it and I can't ever think of anything to say. I'm going to blame it on the fact that I'm always hungry and can't focus without eating so now I'm off to lunch!

We watched this a couple weeks ago in Relief Society and it has been on my mind ever since. Tell me you can watch this without getting the chills or a tear in your eye. I promise I'm not getting all molly Mormon on you, I've just been thinking about a lot of things lately and can't help but feel so grateful for the gospel in my life. It is constantly in the back of my mind and I just have to keep telling myself everything will be alright.

Still love Arcade Fire so much. They are so talented, they all play multiple instruments and sing. It was such a treat to be able to go see them again.

Here we are at Arcade Fire a few years ago, this band has a special place in my heart. It is still one of my favorite concerts ever!

Girls weekend to The Vegas was such a success! Even though I was the only single in a bunch of marrieds, I had a blast! I also probably gained 10 LBs with Courtney in charge of the food. She is such a fab little foodie! There is nothing better than being with all my old roomies/best friends. It takes me right back to the prime days of "college life." I can't wait until we do it again, I'm missing them already!

I'm so grateful for these beautiful friends of mine, I'm so glad that we will all be friends forever! Next trip, New York???

Will someone please explain to me why I am hungry all the time?? I am eating more than I ever have in my life and I am getting fat! I am starving, not just for a snack but for full on meals!! I eat 3 meals a day plus snacks plus like 10 Diet Cokes! Aren't I supposed to be skinny when I have a boyfriend? ITS THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE. I need an intervention. Bryce AKA Joe Jonas and I are not good for each other when it comes to food because we both love to dine and every time we go out we go full out!

At least I'm enjoying myself right? We only have 4 weeks left in Provo together so we have to fit in all our favorites! We've already been to Pizzeria 712 this week with Nicole , Dane and Dash which was wonderful. Thanks for always documenting Nicole! We also went to Communal brunch yesterday and we will probably go there at least 1 more time before Bryce goes to San Fran. We want to go try a bunch of other restaurants that we have never been to in SLC and Park City before he leaves. Does anyone have any good recommendations?

I'm a daddy's girl thats for sure! Happy Birthday to my dad and his twin, my Uncle Brent. I love them both so much and I'm so glad they were born! Bryce and I headed to St. George for the weekend to celebrate and even though we were super lazy it was great to be in warm weather and hang with the fam.

I love my family so much and I love how the older we get the closer we are. I'm dreading leaving them, its still hard for me to realize that I'm a grown up that doesn't depend on them for everything and that I don't live at home anymore!? Is this only weird for me?

It was also my parents 25th Anniversary on Thursday! They celebrated in Vegas and I'm so happy that they were married and are still so in love!

I am now almost finished with my second week at my new job. Man is it tough being a grown up or what? Being to work at 8 AM is the hardest thing I've ever had to do. I'm working as an enrollment coordinator (fancy name for calling people to see if they are interested) at a company called Career Step. It is a really good company, and it will look good on a resume. Its definitely not my dream job by any means but I'm not a quitter so I will stick it out as long as I can. Plus its a really good change which is what I was looking for. I'm still managing the Pizza Factory since my new job is just part time. Things are really busy but really good right now. It is almost Spring and I already have a few little vacations planned for April!

I'm trying to refrain from talking about #jimmer or anything #byubasketball related because I really might go off for days. Lets just say its pretty much all I talk about right now.

Really boring post today but I just needed to update everyone (my mom) of what I've been doing lately. Ta ta!

This is a post about what I wish I was doing this weekend. I wish I was going to be in St. George or California for President's Day weekend. Instead I will be in a gray, dreary place serving tables. If you know me, you know I despise working out. Well I'm trying something new this time folks. YOGA. I used to it a little bit when my mom taught but I never got super into it. I loved it but just didn't do it enough. This time I'm going out of my comfort zone and got a pass to 3B Yoga (it used to be It's Yoga behind Soel Boutique.) I'm going to my first class tomorrow! I can't tell you how many times I've told Bryce that I want to go on an adventure, even if its just to Rexburg. I crave a road trip, a spontaneous outing of some sort. Thats why when I saw this little Valentines day card I fell in love with it.

Its that time again Super Bowl Sunday! I couldn't be me excited because my Steelers are playing. Job hunting

I am in the process of looking for a new job. It is the most discouraging and depressing thing ever, I feel so rejected. I'm grateful that I have a job at Pizza Factory because of course it is better than nothing but it is time for a change. I don't know if I should move, just settle and work at another restaurant, go back to school (which we all know is something I struggle with.) Making decisions is so hard for me and I just keep waiting for opportunities to come a long.

As for now I will blog emo blog posts, listen to a lot of Ryan Adams, eat lots of food, look at clothes and things that I want but can't buy, plan trips I can't go on and hang out with my friends.

This sounds a lot more depressed than I really am. I'm totally fine, it just sucks. April is approaching fast and a lot of my friends will be leaving. It is the end of an era and of course I'm freaking out. I don't usually just write to the unknown world of blog readers but for some reason I'm into it.

Last week was the Sundance Film Festival which everyone knows is my favorite week of the year. Mom came up and we got to see 21 films this year. It was SO great. Lets just say I'm a tiny bit (ok a lot) obsessed with EVERYTHING that has to do with movies, celebrities, and SUNDANCE!

One of the highlights was going to see Josh Ritter perform with Ash. We were so star struck we kept bumping into each other and our faces were bright red. I love his music so much. He is truly amazing.

Last weekend we decided to throw a little get together. We invited everyone we knew and ended up with the best party of the Summer so far! It was so great to see everyone, even lots of my high school friends came! I am openly admitting that I get ideas in my head and never follow through with them. But not this time! Stacy and I have been working on our garden the last two days and after having a couple breakdowns and frustrations we finally have everything planted. I am so excited, I bought a watering can today and right after work I went to water the garden. I'm even excited to weed if you can believe it. We are so proud of ourselves and even though its a baby garden, we now have experience and it will be so much easier the next time we try to do it!

On another note one of my best friends Chelsea Norton got engaged last week to another one of my good friends Ben Prince. I couldn't be happier they are the cutest couple and I couldn't have picked a better match. I love you guys!

I've been dreaming of my own little balcony garden. Its something I've wanted to do for awhile and have never gotten around to it and I don't really know where to start. WELL my amazing friend Stacy is going to help me get started, we are going to start researching tomorrow. I just want some herbs, flowers and veggies. We are going to wear sundresses, sip on lemonade and maybe invest in some Mary Jane Crocs! i'm thinking something like these....obviously mine isn't going to be amazing but I can dream right?
I bet you guys are dying right now because you can't picture me doing anything of this, I'm going to have a green thumb you just watch!

Can I just start by saying I have the most talented, beautiful, amazing friends ever? We threw a shower for Jenna on Wednesday at Communal and it was definitely a success! Courtney has the best ideas and can throw them together in no time, and thanks to Nicole we have these amazing pictures. I'm pretty much just an investor in occasions like these, I just do whatever Court tells me to do and pay for whatever needs to be paid for:) All of us together again has been the best week ever! I am at a loss of words for how grateful I am for my friends. When I realize I'm going to be friends with some of these people for the rest of my life I seriously get emotional. Hanging out with my old roommates the past couple days have made me happier than I have been in quite sometime, and we still have a week left of being together. We have so many memories and I love being completely honest and open with these friends knowing that they will love me and be there for me no matter what even though we are at so many different places in life. I'm sorry some of these pics are sick but they crack me up and bring back so much joy....I'm also going to try to start blogging again Jenna and Court motivated me.

Sundance Film Festival goes GREEN this year and it has inspired me.
I am pledging right now to reduce bottled water waste. My mother, her friend Coni and I saw Dirt! The Movie in Park City last week and I haven't stopped thinking about. I want to plan a garden, I want to lay in dirt and roll around in it. Extreme? I think NOT.

Mom I'm sorry for making fun of you for bringing your own bags to the grocery store, I will forever do the same. From now on you will see me with my official green Sundance water bottle.

Sundance is over, I am sad but I am exhausted and I need a few weeks to recuperate. Here are some more movies that I saw. I have no idea if this is even all of them:

Off to a good start at Sundance Film Festival, this is by far my favorite event of the year. Only day 3 of the festival and we (being mom and I) have already seen 6 movies.

Went to California for a couple days. First time in Santa Monica and I'm obsessed. I never wanted to leave. Best shops ever, best food ever, movie theaters and book stores on every corner. I just can't handle the goodness!!!
